On September 21, 2002, my friends and I went through the upper part of Ape Cave. We arrived at the parking area around 10:30 a.m. We decided to walk up the trail and enter the cave at the upper entrance and then walk down through the cave to the lower entrance and back to the car. There were quite a few people exploring the cave that morning. We enjoyed our trip through the cave and went fishing afterward. What a great way to spend a Saturday!
