All rivers flood periodically. In these pages we will provide information and photos of flooding. Our main concern is for accurate facts to be available so citizens can make intelligent decisions when flooding does occur. This will be an ongoing effort. We will start by posting some pictures of the January 31 - February 1, 2003 event.

The North Fork Lewis River rose steadily January 31, 2003
Emergency personnel were on the scene providing information and comfort.
Airplanes were moved to higher ground at Woodland Airport.
The river came close but never flowed over its banks in this area.
The problem in the area of the Manor House was water over the driveways.
