Woodland Sea Wall Drill

Photography by Noel Johnson - Click to enlarge.

The downtown area of Woodland is protected by a sea wall. The sea wall has an opening in it for Lewis River Road to pass through. In case of a pending flood there are planks that are used to close the wall to protect Woodland. A drill was held on May 13, 2008 to aquaint new employs with thr procedure for closing the wall. Everything went very well.
