The Port of Woodland held a public meeting to discuss the possibility of developing improvements to the Lions Day Park on the Columbia river. The meeting was held at the Community Center. All the seats were filled. Consensus seemed to be that a boat launch consisting of four to six lanes and a large parking lot should be built as soon as possible, in such a way that it would not interfere with other amenities that could be added at a later date. Everyone at the meeting had a chance to say whatever they wanted to. The citizens were encouraged to get on the Port email list.
