Twelve friends from Clatskanie, Longview, Woodland, and Vancouver gathered Sunday, December 12, for a full day of Christmas fun. The first stop was Tommy O's (www.tommysaloha.com), Vancouver's Pacific Rim bistro, serving Hawaiian cuisine. Next, the group gathered at the first Presbyterian Church in Vancouver to see friend Petey Fleischmann, of Woodland, perform with the Vancouver USA Singers in the Majesty of Christmas. This talented group sang in Russian, Latin, German, Africa, Olde English, Middle English, and as Fleischmann said, regular American English.” The show, directed by Jana Hart, included a harpist and African dance. Following the show, the twelve friends boarded a Hummer limo for snacks and a tour of the Christmas lights at Portland International Raceway. Submitted by: Pat Nelson, Woodland
