First People of the River

This "First People of the River" event featured Harvest Moon, a Quinault historian, storyteller and master basket weaver. The history of American Indians who lived in this area before the arrival of Lewis and Clark was highlighted in a film titled "Sovereign to Sovereign".

The color guard from Northwest Indian Veterans Association opened the program. The crown enjoyed the performance of the drummers from NARA. 503.621.1069

Children events were also scheduled.
