A tour group from Tokyo visited the Hulda Klager Lilac Festival on May 2, 2009. It was raining lightly but nobody seemed to mind. This group is under the auspices of the Friendship Force of the Lower Columbia. Judy Card is the local host. Everyone was so impressed by the lovely lilacs. They were excited about being on www.lewisriver.com.
