Our Days Book Sale
Friends of the La Center Community Library will be holding a Book Sale as Part of the La Center community festival "Our Days". The book sale and will be held from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm under the tent at the La Center Community Library with a "Bucket Bag Bonanza" held from 3:00-4:00 pm where a bag of books will be $1. The La Center High School equestrian team is doing a horse show fund raiser on July 22, 2007. The event will be held at 4L arena in Amboy next to Territorial Park. Sign ups start at 8 am and the show starts at 9 am. There will be 5 events; barrels, poles, speed barrels, key pole, and figure 8. There will be 4 age groups; 10 and under, 11 – 17, 18 – 39, and 40 & over. We will be awarding prizes to third place. For questions I can be reached at 360-901-6820 or by email at joanc@bocc.com.
