Learning for Life Programs
Summer 2008
Lower Columbia College Woodland Center is offering a series of classes for the community as a part of the Learning for Life programs Winter Quarter.

- Introduction to Personal Computers, September 20-October 4
- Word Processing Basics, October 11-25
- Internet and Email, November 1-15
These classes are all held on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon with Billie Bevers. Cost is $20 for all ages. A one-time per quarter computer lab fee of $9.60 may apply.
Fitness
- Pilates – August 4- September 3, Monday and/or Wednesday – 10-10:45 a.m. An effective program for emphasizing posture, balance and core strength. Instructor Megan Jasurda.

- Aerobics & Conditioning – Monday/Wednesday, June 30 – August 20 – Noon This class is geared for all fitness levels and incorporates conditioning with abdominal exercises, stretching, aerobics, and weights for toning. Start when you can. Come when you can. Fee is $20. Instructor is Megan Jasurda.
Personal Enrichment
- Write Your Life Story classes will resume the week of September 22. This fall we will be adding a new class at the Kalama Community Center!
Professional Development
- Flagging Certification - Saturday, July 26 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Complete this one day flagger certification class approved by the Evergreen Safety Council and pass the test to receive a Washington State Flagging Certification, valid for three years in WA, OR, ID and MT. Fee is $50. Instructor is Clyde Carpenter.
- Spanish for the Workplace Spanish 104, June 30-July 3. Spanish 105, July 14-17. 9 a.m. – Noon.
