Lower Columbia College Woodland Campus

Introduction to the Running Start Program

Running Start allows eligible students to get a tuition-free jump on their college education by taking college courses that also satisfy their high school requirements. Credit is transferable to most colleges and universities. Many Running Start students graduate from high school and LCC at the same time.

Students can take day or evening college classes, with several offered at the Lower Columbia College Woodland Center, 650 Goerig Street. The Center also offers college placement testing by appointment.

For more information, contact Running Start coordinator Roxana Ahmadifard, toll-free, at 1-866-900-2311 or the Lower Columbia College Woodland Center, 225-4768.
