Planter's Days 2005 Raffle Drawing

Well known Woodland resident, Bill Maitland, won the big first prize of $5000.00 in the Woodland Planter's Days Raffle drawing. The drawing was held in downtown Woodland at 3 am on June 19, 2005. Second place winner of $1000.00 was Chuck Andrus and the $500.00 for third place went to Len Johnson. There were a total of 182 raffle winners with prizes donated from local businesses. Bill Maitland is an active member of the Woodland Moose Lodge. Maitland is shown here with Woodland Planter's Days Commitee President and City Council member John "JJ" Burke.
