The Covington Quilters Guild Present Stroll Down the Garden Path

Fri/Sat 10am-5pm; Sun 10am-4pm Cedar Heights Middle School - 19640 SE 272nd Street (Kent Kangley Hwy 516) Admission: $4.00 donation. Children 12 years and under free. Free Parking or Free Shuttle from Covington Multi Care. Celebrating the Guild's 10th Show, it only gets better and better! Over 200 plus professionally judged quilts on display including a special display of kid's quilts and sewing projects. Exhibits will include demonstrations on quilting, appliqué and outreach quilts-in-progress. Other added events will include Grandma's Attic Bazaar, a Tea Room for refreshments, a Kids Corner and "I Spy" game with prizes, 9 Patch Bed Turning, Door Prizes, 2008 and 2009 Raffle Quilts, Fat Quarter Picnic Baskets drawing, a Passport Hop and lots more. Willapa Harbor Quilt Guild's Quilt Show

Raymond High School All-purpose Room 1016 Commercial St Raymond, WA Quilts shown will be from guild members and community members. Vendors will be Elma Variety Store & Quilting Fabric of Elma; Quilt Harbor of Aberdeen and Cranberry Bay Quilt Shop of Ocean Shores. In addition the Guild will be selling raffle tickets for $1.00 each for their quilt of the year. The money from the raffle goes toward a scholarship fund for interested graduating students, as well as purchasing fabric and supplies to supplement the guilds work of supplying quilts for "at risk children" from the local law enforcement agencies; and donating quilts to other non-profit groups in the area.

September 19 - 21 2008	Walla Walla Valley Quilt Festival	10am-5pm Community Building, Walla Walla Fairgrounds, 360 Orchard Street Walla Walla, WA Vendors, Block Challenge, and more. Lodging: Best Western Walla Walla Suites Inn is offering a group discount to those of you who need lodging while visiting the show. Just mention the Festival when making reservations to receive your discount. It's not too early to make those reservations. Walla Walla hotels/motels are booked way in advance these days due to the number of wineries in the area. Give them a call at 509-525-4700.
