It is with great pleasure and pride that the Downtown Woodland Revitalization Committee announces winners of the Certificate of Recognition of Valuable Contribution to our Community Efforts.

The City of Woodland and the Downtown Woodland Revitalization Committee presented the Holland America Bulb Farm and the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens with a Certificate of Recognition for exceptional support and valuable contributions to our community effort. The award was presented at the May 3, 2005 City Council meeting to Benno Dobbe, President and CEO, Holland America Bulb Farm and Joyce Carlson, President, Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens by Tom Golik, President, Downtown Woodland Revitalization Committee and Doug Monge, Woodland Mayor.

The Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens and Holland America Bulb Farm donated the "Woodland in Bloom" banner as well as the banners for the light poles announcing the Woodland Tulip Festival and Hulda Klager Lilac Days. They also donated flowering lilacs and bulbs for displays to cause Woodland to bloom for the events.
