Discovery Pointe - 2007

Southwest Washington Health Systems purchased the 75 acre Discovery Pointe site, northeast of the I-5-Ridgefield interchange from the Port of Ridgefield for $17.8 million. This is in the Discovery Corridor.

Plans call for a medical clinic, retail complex, hotel and office buildings, and maybe a hospital in the future. Thousands of high paying jobs could be created.

Port of Ridgefield Commissioners and Ridgefield Mayor Doriot said this was a perfect fit and the entire area will benefit.
