Lion's Day Use Park and WDFW Boat Launch
(north shore)
This can be a really pleasant spot depending on the weather. Subject to windy conditions. You can start fishing almost immediately after launching your boat. Don't get stuck in the sand.
Beebe's RV Park and Boat Launch (north shore)
This is a quaint spot. Rustic but does the trick. Parking spaces fill up early. Right at the mouth of the Lewis on Dike Road. Friendly folks.
WDFW - Martin's Access Boat Launch (north shore)

WDFW - Martin's Access boat launch on the lower Lewis River - This is a pretty good launch site downstream from Woodland. Turn left on Lakeshore Drive next to the Woodland Information Center and go out to Pekin Road past Holland American Bulb Farm. Just keep going to the end of the road. There is bank access for fishing here too.

Island River Access (north shore)
This Access has a nice boat launch, parking area for your boat trailer, and it appears to be a pretty good place to fish from the bank.
Johnson Creek Access (north shore)
|
Just 7.35 miles east of Woodland, on Highway 503, and just prior to the turn off for Lewis River Hatchery. Turn right onto Old Lewis River road and then drive a short distance. You will see this beautiful farm across the field from the parking lot.
When you park your car, you will see this sign. Follow the path (Photo #1) past this sign (Photo #2) and down the bank about a quarter of a mile to the mouth of Johnson Creek (Photos #3 and #4). Looks like a great place to fish. Hip boots would help.

Lewis River Fish Hatchery Access (north shore)
Lots of fishing from the bank available here. Good gravel boat launch. This is a pretty spot where you may see deer and birds of prey.
Merwin River Access (north shore)
This is a primitive boat launch site real close to Merwin Dam. The road down to the boat launch is pretty steep. This launch can be dangerous when the water is high.
Happa River Access (south shore)
I was impressed by the quality and beauty of this park. Everything looked spacious while at the same time there was a feeling of seclusion.
Nice parking and restroom facilities. |
|
 Really cool boat launch. |
|
Picnic tables with a view. |
|
Looked like good fishing right from the bank. |
|
Cedar Creek Access (south shore)
This is a really popular spot when the fish are in.
