Spooky StoriesThe Yale Valley Library District, Fort Vancouver Regional Library District and the Yale School PTO are pleased to invite you and your family to an evening of "Spooky Stories" Wednesdaty, October 24 in the Yale Elementary School library, 11842 Lewis River Rd., Ariel, WA., from 7pm to 8:00pm. Our bewitching storyteller, Abbie Anderson, Woodland Librarian, will be bring together ghostly stories from around the world. Family friendly tales will visit The Tinker and the Ghost from Spain; Puchika Churika from Siberia; and Noah's Cats and the Devil's Fire from Romania. For an audience looking for more gruesome tales, Abbie will drop into China to tell The Painted Skin & The Ghost Bride; and northern Nigeria for avisit with The Youngest Son & The Feathered Thing. Abbie is including other unannounced visits around the world where stories where ghastly and ghostly spirits dwell. The Yale PTO is sponsoring the Scholastic Book Fair, October 23rd-27th at Yale Elementary School. Shoppers may visit the Book Fair Tuesday, October 23, 12:15-8:00pm;Wednesday, October 24, 12:15-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm; Thursday, October 25, 12:15-4:00pm; Friday, October 26, 7:00-7:45am and 12:15-1:15pm; and Saturday, October 27, 7:00-9:00pm. Before and after your visit to Spooky Stories, shoppers may choose from hundreds of books. Join us for an evening of storytelling, refreshments and book browsing at the Yale Elementary School, 11842 Lewis River Rd.
