The Woodland Moose Lodge is planning the 2nd annual Kid’s Fishing Derby on April 23rd, 2005. If your company was a sponsor from last years event, we greatly appreciate your participation and look forward to your help this year. If your organization was not involved last year, please allow me to tell you of our plans for this upcoming derby. Last year we fished 400 children, which turned out to be a huge success. This year we are looking to increase to 600 children. We are soliciting sponsorships to offset costs of the derby, such as printing, advertising, photograph supplies and various other expenses.

We are trying to put together a t-shirt program that promotes “hooked on fishing, not on drugs”. This will cost roughly $5.00 per shirt for a total of $3000.00. We are seeking your help in funding this project. I am open to any proposals to fund all or part of this. Should your organization choose to participate we can talk about placing your logo on the shirt, or we can make it a community project if we can get enough local support. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. We believe this project will have a positive impact on our local community, in particular our youth. Thank you in advance for your help and we are looking forward to working with you.
