Memorial Day 2012
Monday, May 28
The Community of Woodland honored all those that served, or are serving, in the Armed Forces of the United States, at a Memorial Day Service in Downtown Woodland. Special tribute went to the fallen heroes and their families. Well over 200 people came out as the clouds gave way to sunshine for this great event. The Airforce fly over is always a very emotional event. People commented that this was one of the best Memorial Day Service ever. The VFW provided a wonderful meal after the service. Excellent food. Thanks to everyone involved.
