WOODLAND FARMERS MARKET "LAST DAY" EVENT FRIDAY, OCT. 2, 2009
Live Music, Pumpkin Painting, Free Cake and More
The Woodland Farmers Market will close its first successful season with a "Last Market Day" celebration this Friday, Oct. 2, 3-7 p.m. with live music, pumpkin painting and other children's activities. Free cake will be given out by vendor Crust and Crumb.
Located in Hoffman Plaza, the Woodland Farmers Market season has featured a variety of vendors each Friday selling locally-grown produce, great food and unique crafts. "The quality of the vendors we have is amazing, and that is what has drawn people down here this season" said Market Master Melissa Steckel.
With the incredible success of the first season, the Woodland Farmers Market looks forward to next year and hopefully having an earlier start date. This year the market opened on June 26th.
