"A Garden Party" Tea
The ladies of Felida Baptist church in Vancouver invite the community to join them in "A Garden Party" Tea on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend, May 8. The inspirational speaker is Pat Johnson, talking about "Bloom Where You are Planted."" Pat is a pastor’s wife and critical-care nurse who has lost four children to cystic fibrosis. You will be intrigued by how her life unfolded, and and trust in God and joyful spirit led to being called to head several ministries, including Ministry 911, serving Clark County and two other counties. The tea is intended to be an outreach to the community, and we believe that whatever you are facing, she will be an encouragement to you!
Tickets are $5 (food will be served), and are available through April 30 by calling (360) 859-3836. Felida Baptist Church is located at 3027 N.W. 119th Street (just east of Lakeshore Drive) in Vancouver. The tea begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 8. Nursery is not available, but children are welcome to attend. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear her heart-warming stories that will strengthen you on your own journey through life. Contact: Bonnie Sabel, (360) 859-3836.
