Halloween
October 31, 2010 - Downtown Woodland Businesses celebrated Halloween by inviting everyone to trick or treat. Well over 400 kids and adults paricipated. The event was held from 3 to 5 pm under beautiful sunny skies. This is a fabulous event - Click here for more pictures. |

Woodland's Make a Difference Day
October 23, 2010 - Volunteers participated in Woodland's Make a Difference Day at 8:30 on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Everyone met at the high school commons for their assignments. The kids and leaders really worked hard. It was an overcast day with occasional light rain. The weather never deterred anyone. After their hard work Burgerville gave them all a free lunch. Thanks kids. Thanks Burgerville. Thanks adult team leaders. Woodland is much cleaner and prettier as a result. It was a heart warming event as always. - Click here for more pictures. |

Port Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Pacific Energy Public Meeting
October 7, 2010 - Pacific Energy hosted a public meeting at the Lewis River Golf Course. It was a chance for the public to meet those people responsible for our safety during high water events. How Pacific Energy controls the water released from the dams was explained. Cowlitz and Clark County Emergency Management are responsible for getting the information out to the public.
