Ridgefield Events - June 2010City-wide Garage Sale Friday and Saturday, June 11 and 12. About 30 homes are having sales, and historically there have been some real treasures found during this event. Pick up free maps at the Chevron station on 179th & I-5, The Circle K on Pioneer and I-5, Zebrun's Starliner or Todd's Pioneer Market. Bob's Automotive will be open Saturday from 9-4, and Boy Scout Post 310 will be at that location too. Opus School of Music program - 6 to 8:00pm Saturday, June 12th at the Old Liberty Theatre. Tickets are $5 at the door. Information: 887-7260. Thursday, June 17, 5:30 - Ice Cream Social at Cedar Ridge. Come and enjoy an ice cream bar. This is a good way to meet your city officials. A small group of business owners have been getting together to discuss ways to improve the First Friday event. The Port of Ridgefield sponsored a meeting last night to discuss ways the Port can get involved in developing and promoting small businesses in Ridgefield. It was a very productive meeting. If you have a small business that you run out of your home and are ready to take the next step, you'll want to find out more about what's happening.
