Friends of the Woodland Library held a Fundraiser at the Woodland Burgerville
June 30, 2011 - Friends of the Woodland Library held a Fundraiser at the Woodland Burgerville. Teen volunteers held a car wash. The event was held on June 30, 2011. Burgerville will donate 10% of its sales for that time to the Friends of the Library - Click here for more pictures. |

Cowlitz Indian Tribe Blessing of Reservation
June 25, 2011 - Under sunny skies with two eagles, two turkey vultures and a red tail hawk overhead, many elders, tribal council members and regular members of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe and other supporters gathered to bless the Cowlitz Indian Tribe Reservation at the La Center Junction. It was a very spiritual event with tears of joy apparent. After the blessing there was a feast prepared by the tribe. State Reprsentatives Attend Woodland Chamber Luncheon
June 21, 2011 - State Representatives Ed Orcutt and Ann Rivers, as well as State Senator Joe Zarrelli attended the Woodland Chamber of Commerce luncheon on June 21, 2011.
