Mock Fatal Accident Scene - Woodland High School

A mock accident with multiple fatalities was enacted at the Woodland Beavers football stadium on May 16, 2007. All the high school students attended. The purpose of this event was to impress upon the students the need for safe driving. It was apparent how many families' lives can be affected by a single accident. Driving a car is a full time job. Just a moment of inattention could ruin your life forever. Think of the consequences. Drive safely. Don't drink and drive. This event was participated in by the Woodland Police Department, the Fire Department, the Cowlitz County Coroners Office and the Woodland High School. Warning, the pictures on the following page may be objectionable as they are very graphic. It is an enactment. The reason for the pictures is to impress upon the viewer how terrible a car accident can be.
