Woodland and Kalama played a football game at Woodland on Friday evening, September 5, 2008. Before the game the Beaver Boosters held a barbecue. Proceeds from the Barbecue went to Dr. Hodel who was disabled as the result of a diving accident.
During half time the Beaver Booster presented Ansgar Schei with a plaque honoring him as Honored Citizen for 2008. Ansgar has donated much time and money to the Beavers for many years. The plaque will be posted on the Hall of Fame Board by the Football Field.
